The Beyond Good Team Gift Guide

Every year, we find ourselves swapping gift recommendations in our team messaging channel — new pantry obsessions, the kitchen tools we can’t live without, and other likeminded businesses doing big things in the world. So this holiday season, we turned those conversations into something a little more official.

We asked our team of unapologetic tastemakers (and extremely opinionated food lovers) to share the products they’re gifting most. The result? A deliciously curated list of kitchen favorites, feel-good finds, and clever upgrades for the food-obsessed people in your life.

Connor, Accounting — The Knife He Gifts to Everyone “They say a 10" chef's knife can do it all. But what if you could do it all, with less? Tojiro's 6.5" Nakiri is the knife I gift most to friends and family. Its tipless blade comfortably commands the modest cutting boards that occupy our tiny NYC kitchen countertops. It eschews a cumbersome bolster for a flat-heeled blade. This means no more accordioned onions or maimed salmon filets—each cut makes full contact with the board. It also means that when it comes time to sharpen, you can achieve an edge angle steep enough to shave a bumblebee's moustache.”

Holly, PR — A Spice-Cabinet Upgrade That Gives Back “A goal of mine in 2026 is to level up my spice cabinet and swap out old jars with sustainable, higher-quality brands. At the top of my list is the Kashmiri Saffron by Diaspora Spice Co. Not only does a dash of saffron add the most beautiful, fragrant flavor to recipes, it’s trending as a wellness darling for its powerful antioxidant benefits. I adore that Diaspora spices are direct trade and single origin, so I can feel great about gifting a tin as an elevated stocking stuffer!”

Taylor, Customer Service — The Microbatch Gift Set She Can’t Stop Talking About “I have been counting the days until I could get my hands on our new Limited Edition Microbatch Gift Set! These chocolates have been on dozens of gift guides this year and they arrive in a beautiful handcrafted raffia clutch made by female Malagasy artisans. (Love that it has enough space to hold my wallet, phone, and all the goodies!)”

Patti, Sales — Pop-Culture Gifts That Fight Food Insecurity “Food insecurity has been a real hot topic of late, and I love that Box Lunch helps address that. Specializing in pop-culture-themed products, Box Lunch donates a meal through the Feeding America program for every $10 spent in-store or online. So far, they’ve donated over 215 million meals through local food banks. It’s such an easy way to make your holiday shopping meaningful!”

Rob, Product — His Go-To Gift: Lenny & Genny Holiday Chocolates “I’ve already checked off so many folks on my list thanks to Lenny and Genny – that is, our new lemur and giraffe-shaped holiday chocolates! In universally beloved flavors like Peppermint Crunch and Hazelnut Brittle, these single-origin cuties will be in all of my stockings, paired with gift cards for teachers, and a delicious show of gratitude for all my hosts.”

Francesco, Finance & Ops — An Organized Kitchen OXO Pop Containers are my go-to for anyone who loves an organized kitchen. I have a few myself and sometimes gift them to friends who are into cooking or baking. They’re BPA-free, super durable, and the company donates 1% of annual sales to environmental nonprofits. It’s a practical gift that also gives back!”

Kate, Content Creation — A Coffee-and-Chocolate Pairing That Tells a Story “You can’t go wrong with a bag of excellent-quality coffee from an interesting origin, and I recently stumbled upon The Madagascar Coffee Company. Think of them as the coffee version of Beyond Good! They also have a direct-trade approach, so farmers get paid fairly. They invest in farmer training using shade-grown techniques that help rehabilitate local forests and wildlife. And they boost Madagascar’s coffee scene by roasting at origin. I’d wrap a bag of their coffee with a jar of Pure Ground Vanilla and a set of the new Microbatch chocolates for the ultimate foodie gift.”

Stephen, Marketing — His New Kitchen Workhorse “I’ve been trying to level up my cooking game and make more of the things I usually buy pre-made. After years of debating it, I finally treated myself to a Vitamix and it has completely changed my kitchen routine. It’s become my go-to for everything: smoothies, soups, and even homemade nut milk (with a scoop of our Pure Ground Vanilla, of course). They also started the Vitamix Foundation, which has donated over $4 million since 2014 to promote plant-based nutrition and improve health access. That makes me feel even better about investing in this tool.”

Rachel, Marketing — The Olive Oil That Makes Everything Better “A great olive oil makes everything better, and Brightland’s 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil proves it. Whether I’m tossing it over a sheet pan of roasted veggies or drizzling it on ice cream with a sprinkle of crunchy sea salt (seriously, you have to try it), the flavor is beautifully complex yet always adds just the right touch. Not only are Brightland’s products top notch, but they also source locally out of California to support the local farmer community. Pro tip: their bottles are a work of art and make a fun vase when you’re done enjoying it!”

Alexis, Operations - The Planet's Favorite Phone Case "Pela Case is a B Corp certified brand making super cool, compostable phone cases and accessories, meaning you can protect your tech without adding to plastic waste! Founded on the idea that everyday products can and should be better for the planet, they started with the goal of creating a more sustainable alternative to plastic phone cases. Their products are made from Flaxstic, a bioplastic made from flax straw, and they are completely compostable. You can also fully personalize the case which makes it a super thoughtful gift. "

Kris, Marketing — A Cookbook That Delivers Big Flavor“ Virtually every time someone asks me for a recipe at a dinner party, I end up revealing my go-to: Rainbow Plant Life. So this year, I’m gifting all my plant-based and plant-curious friends Nisha’s gorgeous Big Vegan Flavor cookbook. It’s beautifully organized and makes both weeknight and special-occasion cooking feel easy and delicious. And selfishly… I’m hoping this means more great dishes coming my way in 2026.”
