Pistachio Iced Chocolate
A sweet, nutty drink perfect for warm summer afternoons when you need a little pick-me-up. A unique spin on a beloved flavor combination, pistachio and chocolate have never tasted better.
Serves 2-4 | Prep time: 20 minutes | Bring to room temp: 1 hour | Chill time: 2 hours
For the iced chocolate:
- 16 oz of whole milk
- 5 oz of Beyond Good Pure Dark 70% Dark Chocolate, chopped

2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp of white, granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp of Beyond Good Pure Ground Vanilla Powder
- 1-2 cups of ice cubes, for serving
For the pistachio topping:
- 8 fl. oz. of whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp of sweetened pistachio spread/cream
- 2 Tbsp of powdered sugar

1 tsp of Beyond Good Pure Ground Vanilla Powder
- Sprinkle of chopped pistachios, for garnish
To serve:
- 2 Tbsp, or a generous dollop, of pistachio topping (above)
- 1/3 - 1/2 cup of iced chocolate
- a handful of ice cubes
Method
In a saucepan, heat the milk gently over medium heat. Whisk in the chopped chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and vanilla powder until smooth and silky. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature (approximately 1 hour), then refrigerate until chilled (1-2 hours). In a mixing bowl, whisk the cream with the pistachio cream/spread, powdered sugar, and vanilla powder until soft peaks form. Chill until ready to use (1-2 hours). Fill two glasses with ice, and pour the chilled chocolate over. Spoon a generous dollop of cold pistachio cream on top. Finish with a sprinkle of crushed pistachios and an extra dusting of vanilla powder for a beautiful presentation!
Tip: The pistachio topping can be prepped and stored in the fridge in advance for an easy upgrade to any iced chocolate or coffee!
